Located directly on the canal in the backyard of the canal house "Simmerdeis an der Gracht," the loft apartment features a large terrace on the ground floor. A beach chair and a large table with chairs for working and eating allow for both indoor and outdoor use.
The loft itself is atypical for Friedrichstadt. Two charming, high-quality loft apartments were built in 2023 in an old workshop in the backyard. Underfloor heating and generous interior design offer everything a loft lover could wish for. The property's own kayaks/SUPs and a Canadian canoe are available on-site and included in the price.
Quiet neighborhood, a two-minute walk from the market square, and access to the canal and the Treene River is right outside, perfect for paddling. It's also ideal for dog owners, as there are green spaces and paths everywhere that run directly along the waterfront, free from cars.

Loft 2, like the loft on the ground floor, is atypical for Friedrichstadt. Two charming, high-quality loft apartments were built in 2023 in an old workshop in the backyard. Underfloor heating and spacious interiors offer everything a loft lover could wish for. A beautiful, bright shower room and a fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and various kitchen appliances complete the picture, making it ideal for comfortable cooking.
Our own kayaks/SUPS and a Canadian canoe are available on site and included in the price.

HOST NOTES
Cancellation policy
Travelers who cancel at least 14 days before arrival receive 100% of the booking amount back. If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before arrival, you will get a 50% refund. Otherwise, they will not be reimbursed.
Subject Covid 19: We will pay back 100% of the booking amount in the event that the federal government issues a short-term accommodation ban. In the case of a Covid 19 disease or quarantine, the normal cancellation conditions apply (see above)

Friedrichstadt offers many recreational opportunities on and around the water. Directly across from the house is the canal, from where you can launch your own kayaks or SUP. Of course, it's also a wonderful place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening sundowner, watching the waterfowl or passing boats.
