My holiday home "Simmerdeis an der Gracht" is located in Friedrichstadt which has a strong dutch influence and is also affectionately known as "Little Amsterdam". It is generously designed for 4-6 people. It is located directly at the inland port, from where you can paddle directly from the jetty in front of the door with two in-house canoes and a SUP onto the canals or the Treene. Restaurants, bakery, cafés and quaint shops are just around the corner on the market square.
The historic house, which was completely renovated to a high standard and lovingly furnished at the end of 2022, has a spacious living and dining room area on the ground floor. In the living room there is a very comfortable pull-out sofa bed (140 x 200 cm with topper) where two people can sleep.
The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, stove, oven and all the common kitchen tools you need for cooking. The downstairs bathroom with shower bath also opens from there. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and, like on Warft Simmerdeis, there is also a hair dryer, cosmetic mirror, complimentary shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, soap and body lotion and of course towels in different sizes per person.
The entire lower area is equipped with underfloor heating, so that you always have warm feet even in spring, autumn and winter.
On the first floor are the two bedrooms, each equipped with Smart TV. The master bedroom for two people with a box spring bed (160 cm x 200 cm) has a wonderful view of the canal and Treene river. The second bedroom with an upholstered bed (160 x 200 cm) overlooks the freshly landscaped green roofs and courtyard overlooking the old workshop. The 2 loft units are now finished and are available for rental.
On the first floor is another bright, cheerful bathroom with a shower bath and a view of the canal and the Treene river.
On the second floor there is a yoga room with equipment (yoga mats, seat cushions, yoga blocks and belts), which can be requested for an additional charge. It is suitable for small yoga or meditation groups/retreats.
WLAN and bed linen for each guest is of course available.
The holiday home is a non-smoking apartment - smoking is not permitted.

LOFT 1 ON THE GROUND FLOOR WITH SUN TERRACE

Located directly on the canal in the backyard of the canal house "Simmerdeis an der Gracht", the loft apartment with a large terrace is on the ground floor. A beach chair and a large table with chairs for working and eating allow you to stay indoors and outdoors.
The loft itself is atypical for Friedrichstadt. Two charming, high-quality loft apartments were built in 2023 in an old workshop in the backyard. Underfloor heating and spacious interior fittings offer everything loft lovers could wish for. Kayaks/SUPs are on site and incl.
Quiet neighborhood, in a 2-minute walk you are at the market square and access to the canal and Treene is right outside the door to go paddling with the in-house kayaks and SUPs. Also very suitable for dog owners, as there are green strips and paths everywhere that run directly along the shore without cars.

Directly on the canal in the backyard of the canal house “Simmerdeis an der Gracht” is the loft apartment 2 with a beautiful roof terrace. (At the moment we are just waiting for a few final glass installations on the railing) - the garden furniture, so that you can have meals in the sun or enjoy a nice sundowner, is already ready to be set up.
Loft 2, like the loft on the ground floor, is atypical for Friedrichstadt. Two charming, high-quality loft apartments were built in an old workshop in the backyard in 2023. Underfloor heating and spacious interior design offer everything that loft lovers could wish for. A beautiful, bright shower room and a fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, oven stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment and various kitchen tools complete the picture so you can cook comfortably here too.
Kayaks/SUPs are on site and included.

HOST NOTES
Cancellation policy
Travelers who cancel at least 14 days before arrival receive 100% of the booking amount back. If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before arrival, you will get a 50% refund. Otherwise, they will not be reimbursed.
Subject Covid 19: We will pay back 100% of the booking amount in the event that the federal government issues a short-term accommodation ban. In the case of a Covid 19 disease or quarantine, the normal cancellation conditions apply (see above)
